Wayne Choate, and Kyle C. Watson. John E. Clark, a member of the founding group, has been Of Counsel to the firm since its beginning.
About Our Founder, John Goode
The law firm was founded in 1991 by John W. Goode, Jr., (deceased 1994),
and seven other attorneys, all of whom had practiced with the larger
San Antonio law firm of which Goode had been a founding partner.
John W. Goode, Jr., our co-founder, mentor and friend, was a lifetime resident of San Antonio who distinguished himself both as an attorney and as a civic leader.
A World War II veteran, John Goode is remembered not only for his legal ability and his courage on the battlefield, but also for his inspiring record of service to the bar, the community and the state. He was a man of integrity, courage and common decency, and an outstanding lawyer. He encouraged and supported a host of young lawyers, many of whom have in turn become judges, elected officials, and leaders in their communities. He represented the most admired, positive attributes of the legal profession - ethical behavior, a strong belief in justice, leadership in community and civic affairs, and professional camaraderie. His vision for our law firm continues to guide us, and we are thankful for his life.
